2YO In Training
In 2008, we purchased a filly for $25k which would turn out to be the best 2yo prospect we ever had. Our Khrysty broke her maiden first time out winning a MSW race by 9 widening lengths.
She won her second start at Phila Park against a solid Allowance field, last to first drawing away. She is now a Graded Stakes Winner!!!!! In addition to Our Khrysty we have 4 others ready to take their place in Renpher Stable. One a colt by Derby winner Grindstone, Grinding Speed.
2YO partnerships begin forming in February. Renpher Stable has been very fortunate to have purchased Crying Poverty, in 2004, as our initial 2yo offering. He rewarded us immediately, winning his first start in MSW company. He has gone onto win 5 Allowances races since then!
In 2005, we year purchased Salsa Music. She debuted with a fast closing 3rd in MSW company at Laurel. In her next start she broke her maiden by 12+ lengths! She too went on on and won 2 Allowance races, then ran 5th in a Stake race at Pimlico.
In 2006, we prucahsed three 2yos. The first to race was Gotcha Shaken. Shakey ran second in his first start in MSW company. Nice time out he won easily by 5, following that victory by a 4 length Allowance win next time out!
In 2007, Miabella Colonia led the class by winning a Maiden Special Weight event in her first start. Next time out she was 5th in The Blue Mountain Juvenile Stake!

Our first 2yo In Training purchase, CRYING POVERTY, broke his maiden during his first start at Charles Town! He won an exciting MSW contest. Here is an excerpt from NYBREDS.com:
Crying Poverty, who debuted off nine eye-catching Penn National workouts beginning last September -- five of them "bullet" drills, including his last three works on February 16 and 26 and March 12 -- broke from the outside post among nine three-year-old starters with jockey Carlos Nieto on board for the 4-1/2-furlong contest. He had a half-length lead over the 4.90-to-1 third choice, Real Deal Diamond, after the opening quarter-mile, and when Real Deal Diamond challenged by getting his head in front at mid-stretch, the New York-bred came back to score by a half-length. Crying Poverty, whose trainer is Lester Stickler Jr., was purchased by Renpher Stable for $20,000 at Fasig-Tipton Midlantic's May 2004 sale of two-year-olds in training in Timonium, Maryland. He is the 22nd winner of 2005 and the 49th overall from two crops to race sired by syndicated Eclipse Champion Sprinter Artax (Marquetry - Raging Apalachee, by Apalachee), who stands at Metropolitan Stud (managed by Michael and Debra Lischin) in Pine Plains for a 2005 fee of $10,000, live foal. Crying Poverty is the first winner produced from stakes-placed six-time winner Misty Harbor ($109,019), a Danzig Connection mare that breeder Bianculli had purchased for $85,000 at Keeneland's 2001 November sale when she was carrying Crying Poverty. Misty Harbor is a half-sister to stakes winner Leading Lioness and to stakes-placed six-time winner Exact ($199,315).

Every partner, regardless of percentage of ownership, is invited to participate in conference calls to understand the selection process. We will narrow the field using various sources and our proven research approach. You are welcome to join us at the sale for the "Under the Tack" show. Be on hand to watch every workout live. This will eliminate some choices and add new horses to our "wish list". The next step is to inspect the prospects first hand. Again, you are welcome to join us every step of the way. Finally, we attend the auction and hope for the best. You can be as active as you like. It's a great experience that doesn't come along often.
A frequently asked question is:
"If I pay expenses for 3 months, what happens if we sell or lose the horse in two months?"
The answer is simple. Renpher Stable will reimburse each partner, any unused funds in their account. You can request a check or leave the money on account for future acquisitions. It's your money.
We try to keep it simple for you. You join a partnership, you are updated almost every day, and you have a ball. Renpher Stable e-mails you a personalized statement. The statement will show your balance forward from the previous month, plus purse revenue, minus expenses.
